Devon Sexual Health offers free, impartial, confidential and non-judgemental advice and support to all members of our diverse local community in Devon and Torbay.
The team is specially trained in all aspects of sexual health and we work closely with our local LGBTQ+ communities and support agencies providing advice with regards to safer sex, risk reduction and safety.
Our support
Devon Sexual Health is committed to ensuring sexual health services are accessible to all. We can offer a full range of sexual health services and signposting to support services including:
- A free and confidential full sexual health check
- Screening for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B & C
- Gender and sexuality
- Sexual orientation
- PrEP and PEP advice
- Advice and support for friends and family
- Information and advice regarding legalities, the law, LGBT and religion, LGBT and travel
- Safer sex and risk reduction
- Chemsex
- Sex addiction, sexual preferences and fetishes
- Condom and lube provision
- Contraception choices
Where you can find us
Our main sexual health clinics are based in Exeter, Barnstaple and Torquay. Appointments can be made by calling 0300 303 3989 or you can book online appointments by registering for a Personal Health Record (PHR).
The sexual health team regularly attend local Pride events, and University and College Fresher’s Fairs. The team also actively supports National HIV testing week, and World AIDs day,
We also provide LGBTQ+ specific outreach support, at colleges and community sites as well as local support groups.
If you would like to arrange a talk at your group or charity, we are happy to support and can arrange tailored visits to encourage open discussions on crucial topics including: contraceptive choices; STIs and testing; HIV support; sexual consent; healthy relationships, and personalised advice on coming out or navigating gender-related topics.
